Term & Conditions

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITION:-

Travellers are advised to check the deion of the services and products carefully before making a booking. Traveller(s) agree to be bound by all the conditions as contained in booking confirmation. These conditions are also to be read in consonance with the Traveller Agreement. Before booking, using the Website, approaching any of our Sales Channels or procuring the services of Galaxy Travels, the Travellers shall compulsorily read and understand this Agreement, and shall be deemed to have accepted this Agreement as a binding that governs Traveller&rsquos dealings and transactions with Galaxy Travels. If the Traveller does not agree with any part of this Agreement, then the Traveller must not avail Galaxy Travels services and must not access or approach to any of the Sales Channels of Galaxy Travels.

If a Person intends to make a booking on behalf of another person / Traveller, it shall be the responsibility of the person to inform such person / Traveller about the terms of this Agreement, including all rules and restrictions applicable thereto. 

The Traveller undertakes to abide by all procedures and guidelines, as modified from time to time, in connection with the use of the services available through GALAXY TRAVELS. The Traveller further undertakes to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, orders, directions etc. Issued by either the Central Government, State Government, District Authorities or any other statutory body empowered to do so w.r.t use of services or for each transaction.

TCS: TAX COLLECTION SOURCE
Please note, TCS once collected cannot be refunded in case of any cancellation / modification. You can claim the TCS amount as adjustment against Income Tax payable at the time of filing the return of income.

As per section 206CCA of Income Tax Act 1961, w.e.f. 01-Jul-21 onwards, TCS will be charged 10% on overseas tour packages in case you have not filed your income tax returns for two preceding years and the aggregate TDS and TCS is each tax year is INR 50,000 or more.

On validating the PAN if it is found that you have not filed your Income Tax Returns for two preceding years and aggregate TCS and TCS exceeds INR 50,000, an additional TCS 5% will be recovered from you or booking will get cancelled and cancellation charges will apply.

On submitting your PAN details, yout ITR information will be subjected to verification for the TCS calculation purpose. In case you haven&rsquot filed your ITR for the past 2 years, you will have to pay an additional 5% post payment.

TCS credit would reflect in your Form 26AS on quarterly basis. You may also request TCS certificate from Galaxy Travels.

TCS collected can be claimed against the tax payable at the time of filing the tax return or payment of advance tax.

In case there is no tax payable, you can claim the refund of TCS amount at the time of filing income tax return.

This TCS Policy is applicable on booking of any of the outbound services from Galaxy Travels.

COVID 19 RELATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Traveller agrees that due to recent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, which has been declared as a national disaster by the Government of India, there may be instances, where the end service provider either cancels the booking or refuses to provide the services, as agreed with the Traveller, by assigning or not assigning any specific reason for such refusal. Refusal of service may be due to the reasons including but not limited to the Traveller:

  • Exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID 19.
  • Refusing to comply with safety advisories, like wearing protective gear, complying with social distancing norms etc.
  • Suffering of any ailment making the Traveller vulnerable to the virus
  • Posing a threat to the health and safety of others
  • Not fulfilling Coivd-19 vaccination criteria

In such cases GALAXY TRAVELS will assume no liability for the refusal of service by the end service provider. The Traveller also agrees that refund, if any, for such bookings will be processed by GALAXY TRAVELS to the Traveller subject to receipt of the same from the end service provider. 

Traveller further understands that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Central Government through its ministries, State Governments and statutory bodies have/may come up with detailed set of guidelines or standard operating procedure (SOP) that a traveller will have to follow in order to undertake the travel. 

The Traveller agrees to abide with all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. Failure to abide by such detailed set of guidelines/SOP, may lead to a situation where the service provider or any person authorized by the Central Government, State Government or statutory body may disallow the Traveller to undertake the travel. In such circumstances, GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held liable for such refusal to travel and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the service provider 

Traveller understands that the Central Government, State Governments and various other bodies, may mandate providing Covid -19 vaccination status and certificate, Negative RT-PCR report from ICMR authorized lab, downloading of Arogya Setu App or submitting a self- declaration form prior to entering a transit point like airport, railway station etc. Or at the time of checking-in for a flight, into a hotel etc. Accordingly, the Traveller must ensure downloading of Arogya Setu App on their smartphones or provide any other alternate such as self-declaration when demanded.  

Traveller undertakes that all bookings are subject to certain minimum medical wellbeing criteria specified by the Govt. / appropriate authority from time to time including submitting Vaccination status and certificate, negative RT-PCR report or any other travel related guideline, especially in case of inbound travel. In this regard the Traveller may be required to furnish a medical proof or health declaration in a applicable format.

Country reserves right to admission in their country. Any country can ask any traveller to leave the country without giving any prior notice due to any reason,

Any country can ask traveller to leave its country/city/place if any person found Covid positive after reaching there. Galaxy Travels has no responsibility and liability for any kind of refund in this case.

In case the traveller is positive he/ she will have to undergo quarantine stay as per the rules and regulations of respective city/ state/ country at a Hotel on a chargeable basis (charges to be paid directly by the traveller), GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable for these charges neither will entertain any claims or negotiations in this regard.

It is mandatory to carry RT-PCR Negative test report along with traveller not old than 48 hours before travel time & date for all travellers.

Asymptomatic travellers has to be vaccinated with both doses of the COVID 19 vaccine and 15 days have lapsed since the administration of second dose of the vaccine, these travellers also have to produce the ID card / mentioned in the Vaccination Certificate, for verification purpose.

Travellers who are found symptomatic on arrival at destination place, irrespective of their vaccination status shall be subjected to RTPCR / Rapid Antigen Test at the airport terminal/ hotel/ any place to aid identification.

These above mentioned COVID 19 terms and condition is applicable on all kind of bookings and services i.e. Holiday package, Outbound & Domestic tours, flight tickets, hotel booking, cabs, bus ticket, Visa, Activity or any sightseeing booked from Galaxy Travels.

 

OUTBOUND AND DOMESTIC TOURS (HOLIDAY PACKAGES)

DEFINITIONS

"Independent Contractors" means hotelier or hotel owner, owner of any airlines or shipping company or railway ferryboat owner, coach owner, or any other person or organization which has been selected to render services to the Traveller. 

"Outbound Tour" means a tour operated by GALAXY TRAVELS outside of India and includes, but is not limited to, brochure tours, special tours, packages, cruise, sightseeing, carnival, cosmos, star cruise etc. 

"Tour Cost" means total booking cost of all the services booked by the Traveller for his outbound tour. 

"Booking Fees" means a non-refundable fee or token money deposited at the time of booking by the Traveller. 

"Brochure" means catalogue, leaflet, e-mail or any other containing the details about the itinerary and activities on an outbound tour. 

"Infant" means a person below the age of 2 years and child means a person above the age of 2 years and below the age of 12 years. 

 

 

ROLE OF GALAXY TRAVELS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

GALAXY TRAVELS does not control or operate any airline, shipping company, coach, hotel, transport vehicles, restaurant, kitchen caravan or any other facility, activity or service mentioned in the Brochure. 

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be responsible for any delay, improper service, standard of service provided by any service provider or any Independent Contractor, or for any injury, death, loss or damage which is caused by the act or default of any hotel, airlines, shipping companies, cruise, coach owners, tour operators who are GALAXY TRAVELS&39s independent contractors. 

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be responsible for any act or actions of co-traveller&rsquos, co-passengers which may result in injury, damage to the life or limb or property of the Traveller, or which may lead to interference in enjoying or availing the services provided on the outbound tour. 

GALAXY TRAVELS being merely a facilitator , shall not be liable or responsible for the following: 

 

  • Personal injury, sickness, accident, death, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, incidental, consequential loss and/or damage or any kind of theft howsoever caused to the Traveller or any person travelling with them.
  • Any act, omission, default of any travel agent or third party or any other person or by any servant or agent employed by them who may be engaged or concerned in the provision of accommodation, refreshment, carriage facility or service for the Traveller or for any person traveling with him /her.
  • The temporary or permanent loss of, or damage to, baggage or personal belongings howsoever caused including wilful negligence on the part of any person.
  • Any delay made in delivery of the service by the concerned service providers.
  • Failure on the part of airline to accommodate passengers despite having confirmed tickets for any reason whatsoever including overbooking, change of route etc. Or failure on part of hotel to allow check-in despite confirmed booking for whatever reason.
  • Any claims of any dispute with the tour manager.
  • Any claim arising due to delay at the airport and if the Traveller has to wait at the airport or at the hotel for check-in due to any technical snag or any other reason not attributable to GALAXY TRAVELS, GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for making any arrangements, including but not limited to food or any hotel arrangement in case of such delays.
  • Any damages caused to the Traveller due to reasons beyond the control of GALAXY TRAVELS.


In no event shall the entire liability of GALAXY TRAVELS for any claims directly and indirectly arising out of the tour exceed the total booking amount paid by the Traveller. 

There can be exceptional circumstances where the service operators like the airlines, hotels, the respective transportation providers or concerns may be unable to honour the confirmed bookings due to various reasons like climatic conditions, labour unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, government decisions, operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations cancellation or rescheduling of airlines, climate factor, natural disaster, political disturbances, strikes, Medical emergencies, threat of war, civil strife, riots, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural calamity, fire, acts of God, National / International Lock down, Covid spread, any epidemic or pandemic conditions, terrorist activity, any operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, adverse weather conditions or any other reasons. If GALAXY TRAVELS is informed in advance of such situations where dishonour of bookings may happen, it will make its best efforts to provide similar alternative to its Traveller or refund the booking amount after reasonable service charges, if supported and refunded by that respective service operators.

 

The Traveller agrees that GALAXY TRAVELS being an agent for facilitating the booking services shall not be responsible for any such circumstances and the customers have to contact that service provider directly for any further resolutions and refunds. The maximum liability of GALAXY TRAVELS in such events will be to refund the booking amount subject to similar receipt from the service providers. 
 

 

BROCHURE

 

All information given in the Brochure is based on the information available at the time of publication. GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to change any information contained in the Brochure before or after booking the outbound tour due to any event(s) beyond the control of GALAXY TRAVELS. 

The prices quoted in the brochure will be calculated at the rate prevailing at the time of making of the brochure. GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to amend the prices published in the brochure in case of currency fluctuations, changes in the various gross rates of exchange, and/ or fuel costs, special/ high season charge levied by the suppliers, hike in the airline/ rail charges before the date of departure and to surcharge accordingly. All such increases in price must be paid for in full before the departure by the Traveller. 

Apart from the instant Terms of Service and the Traveller Agreement, some specific terms and conditions are mentioned against the respective Outbound Tour in the Website as well as email communication and confirmed booking vouchers. Those terms and conditions also form part of the GALAXY TRAVELS Traveller Agreement & Terms Of Service and are to be read in consonance with each other. 

No claim of the Traveller against any change in the Brochure regarding the Outbound Tour /Domestic Tour shall be entertained if such changes are due to reasons beyond the control of GALAXY TRAVELS. 

 

 

MEALS AND SPECIAL REQUESTS

 

The menus are pre-set for meals on the Outbound Tour. The nature of meals is clearly indicated in the Brochure. GALAXY TRAVELS would not entertain a request for a special meal nor guarantees a special diet to the Traveller.

GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to change the menu if circumstances necessitate such a change. In the event that the Traveller is not able to avail the meals in the menu for any reason, no claim can be made for the unutilized meal against GALAXY TRAVELS. 

Traveller acknowledges that hotels worldwide serve breakfast, lunch, dinner or any meal at different ( local) time or time as specified in the confirmed booking voucher. Traveller understands that Hotels do not pack or room deliver breakfast, lunch, dinner or any meal. The meal has to be consumed when served. If the Traveller misses breakfast, lunch, dinner or any meal due to any reason, no claim for the same shall be entertained. 

GALAXY TRAVELS may, in its sole discretion, entertain the requests for special meals, room allocations subject to such requests being honoured by respective service providers. GALAXY TRAVELS would take all the necessary steps to ensure that these special requests are honoured. However, in the event that such special requests are not honoured, GALAXY TRAVELS would not be liable for any claim in this regard by the Traveller. Extra cost, if any, for special meals or any such special requests have to be borne by the Traveller. 

Traveller shall bear the additional charges of any special meal if purchased by him/ her and shall not be entitled to recover the same from GALAXY TRAVELS. 

 

 

HOTELS IN THE OUTBOUND / DOMESTIC TOUR

 

GALAXY TRAVELS takes all reasonable steps at the time of selecting the hotels that form a part of the Outbound Tour. The selection is based on an internal assessment of the respective hotels and such hotels selected are usually the best in the respective categories. GALAXY TRAVELS endeavours to provide details of the hotel to the Traveller in advance vide proposed itinerary. However, GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to change hotels before booking, subject to availability or any other reason beyond its control. 

Once the Traveller opts for a certain category or star rating of a hotel, later no claim or dispute with regard to the star category or type of the hotel shall be entertained by GALAXY TRAVELS. 

GALAXY TRAVELS would not be held liable or to make good any inconvenience or discomfort caused to the Traveller due to but not limited to the insufficient services provided at the hotel. GALAXY TRAVELS acts as a facilitator between the Traveller and the hotel, and would under no circumstances be held responsible for inadequate services provided by the hotel. 

The Traveller would be liable to make good any damage(s) caused by any act of him/her or their accompanying guests to the property of the hotel in any manner whatsoever. The extent and the amount of the damage so caused would be determined by the concerned hotel. GALAXY TRAVELS would not, in any way, intervene in the same. 

No request for the change of hotel shall be entertained after the booking is confirmed. If Traveller upgrades the hotel or changes the hotel on his own, he/she agrees to bear the charges incurred for change in the hotel and shall not be entitled to claim it from GALAXY TRAVELS. 

Traveller shall be responsible for his/ her baggage and valuables. GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for any loss of baggage or theft of Traveller&39s articles during their stay in the hotels or any time during the tour. 

 

 

ITINERARY

 

GALAXY TRAVELS will provide a proposed itinerary to the Traveller before the booking. Such proposed itinerary shall be subject to changes. The confirmed booking details and hotel vouchers sent to the Traveller before departure and after payment of entire booking amount.

The Outbound Tour price is subject to increase without any prior notice if this rate substantially changes prior to departure, then the Traveller would be required to pay such incremental tour cost before the departure. 

The days and nights of the itinerary are decided as per the availability of hotels and airlines. No claims regarding full utilization of first day, last day, any day or inclusion in the tour shall be valid. 

GALAXY TRAVELS takes all reasonable steps at the time of finalizing the itinerary for the Traveller to ensure that the itinerary is as per the convenience and comfort of the Traveller. However, in the event of a change in the itinerary, GALAXY TRAVELS or service provider would inform the Traveller accordingly.

Further, in the event of any change beyond the control of GALAXY TRAVELS in the itinerary of the Traveller post departure for outbound / domestic tour, GALAXY TRAVELS shall inform the Traveller accordingly as and when such a change occurs. GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held responsible in any manner whatsoever for any loss that a Traveller might suffer consequent to such a change. 

GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to claim any additional expenses on account of delays or changes in the itinerary, caused by any reason whatsoever. 

GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any particular departure, excursion or substitute a hotel, or any other aspect of the itinerary, if deemed advisable or necessary. 

In the event that the Traveller misses out on any activity on the outbound tour due to delay on his part, GALAXY TRAVELS would not be held liable to refund the money paid for the same. 

GALAXY TRAVELS will not entertain any change in the itinerary at the request of the Traveller after booking, as such change might disarray the entire tour. However, GALAXY TRAVELS may, in its sole discretion and subject to availability, provide changes in the itinerary made at the request of the Traveller. Traveller agrees to pay additional cost incurred due to such change/cancellation. 

 

 

COACH AND SITTING

 

On the Outbound / Domestic Tours, coaches are used for transfer purposes including local sightseeing. There are no seat numbers allocated and the Travellers shall follow instructions of the Tour Manager / coach operator/ Driver in this regard. 

In case the Traveller is carrying any valuable personal belongings, it is advisable not to leave them behind at the time of disembarking or leaving the coach. GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held responsible or liable in case of loss of such items from the coach. All baggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances the responsibility of the Traveller. 

Any damage caused to the coach during travel as a consequence of the actions of the Traveller shall be payable by the Traveller and GALAXY TRAVELS would in no manner whatsoever be liable for the same. 

The drivers of the coaches are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day/ during a week, rest period per day/ week etc. Travellers will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In the event that any of the sightseeing schedules is missed due to delays caused by the Traveller, the cost of same will not be refunded to the Traveller under any circumstances. 

In the event of breakdown of any coach or any vehicle arranged for transportation, GALAXY TRAVELS will provide an alternative within reasonable time. GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for any delays occurred due to such breakdown or traffic jam or for any reasons causing delay or cancellation in the provision of alternative coach or vehicle. 

 

 

TIPPING

 

Tipping is customary in all parts of the world for services rendered (e.g. Porters, coach drivers, guides etc.). This is however solely at the discretion of the Traveller. 

Tipping in Europe is something that is expected of anyone providing you a service, for example, local guides, waiters, tour manager, porter etc. However, it is mandatory to tip the coach driver a nominal amount of 2 Euros for Europe and UK and 2 Dollars for USA per person per day for the duration of the tour. 

 

 

CURRENCY AND TRAVELLERS CHEQUES

 

It is recommended that the Traveller carries money partly in local currency (i.e. In the currency of the country where he/she is traveling), partly in traveller&rsquos cheques or travel currency card. Traveller&rsquos cheque is a safe way to carry money as they are easily cashable for a small service fee charged by the bank and can be replaced if they are stolen or lost, provided you have the traveller&rsquos cheque numbers and the counterfoil. 

Alternatively, the Traveller can carry a travel currency card, which is by far the safest way to carry foreign currency and provides 24*7 access to cash at relevant ATMs. 

 

 

ACCOMMODATION FOR CHILD BELOW 12 YEAR OF AGE

 

If a child below 12 years of age is booked on the outbound / domestic tour without paying for a separate bed, then no separate bed will be provided in the hotel. 
 

 

BOOKINGS THROUGH THIRD PARTY/ TRAVEL AGENTS

 

In case where a travel agent through whom the Travellers have booked the Outbound / domestic Tour, signs the booking form for and on behalf of the Traveller, it shall be deemed and construed that the Travellers have duly authorized the said travel agent to sign on their behalf. The signing of the booking form by the travel agent would be binding on the Traveller. 

If the Traveller books with a travel agent, the contract is with the Traveller&39s travel agent and GALAXY TRAVELS is a supplier to the Traveller&39s travel agent. 

Correct information of the contact details of the Traveller shall be provided at the time of booking. GALAXY TRAVELS takes no responsibility for any claims arising out of non-receipt of information if the specified contact number is not reachable or does not belong to the Traveller. 

GALAXY TRAVELS takes no liability for any promises made to the Traveller by any other travel agent authorized by the Traveller to make bookings. All products and services are provided as per GALAXY TRAVELS or any other provided to the Traveller at the time of booking the tour. 

In case of bookings through other travel agents, refunds (if any) will be made to the travel agent authorized by the Traveller to make bookings. 

 

 

FORFEITURE OF DEPOSITS

 

GALAXY TRAVELS may require the Traveller to pay non-refundable interest-free booking fee at the time of booking the tour. 

In the event that the Traveller cancels the booking or fails to adhere to the tour payment schedule as informed in the ation check list or in the event that the visa of the destination country is not granted or the Traveller is unable to travel on the tour booked due to any personal reason or other reasons, including medical ground or sickness, cancellation charges will apply as communicated to the Traveller by GALAXY TRAVELS. 

Traveller acknowledges that booking of air tickets, hotels for a tour is done parallel to visa processing to ensure the availability as per the proposed itinerary. In the event of any denial or rejection of visa, GALAXY TRAVELS shall be entitled to recover any cost incurred in making such bookings by way of deducting cancellation charges as specified hereinabove. Traveller acknowledges that such charges are just and fair and are deducted towards expenses that GALAXY TRAVELS incurs towards making bookings at the request of the Traveller and consequent cancellation or non-travel by the Traveller. 

 

 

VISA

 

All the Travellers traveling on an outbound tour must be in possession of a valid visa (including transit Visa, Ok to Board) to enter all the countries in which the Travellers intends to visit or pass through as a part of the outbound tour. 

Traveller(s) whose visas are not granted by the concerned consulates, must intimate GALAXY TRAVELS immediately about such rejection. GALAXY TRAVELS will deduct applicable cancellation charges in addition to any additional visa expenses incurred and refund balance amount if any. 

In case of rejection, if Traveller wishes to reapply/appeal against rejection of the visa, GALAXY TRAVELS shall do the same strictly pursuant to the instructions of the Traveller. The reapplying/appeal shall be a fresh transaction and the Traveller will be liable to pay the applicable fee for such reapplying/appeal process along with service fee to GALAXY TRAVELS. Unless otherwise applied by the Traveller, GALAXY TRAVELS will not initiate reapplication of any visa application.

Galaxy Travels does not guarantee the granting of visa as it is at sole discretion of the embassy/High Commission, we are not liable or responsible for any rejection or delays in decision grant post submission. Also, if client&rsquos visa got rejected due to any reasons, get delayed in decision of grant visa post submission due to any reasons in these cases client&rsquos entire trip bookings will be cancelled and no refund will be given to client. However, Galaxy Travels will try its best to reimburse the appropriate amount against the same in case refund is possible from its suppliers. However, Galaxy Travels is not obligated for the same and cannot be held liable or responsible against it.

The customer must be in possession of a valid Multi Entry Schengen Visa before the start of the trip from India. The cost of this Visa is not included in your tour price unless specified by the sales rep. Some Consulates may request for a bio-metric or personal interview. The customer will need to attend this Interview at their own cost.

It will be the Tour Participants responsibility to apply for visa with complete set of s required by the embassy/consulate within the stipulated period as advised by the Company.

In the event the visa application made by Tour Participant or by the Company on his/her behalf is rejected by the consulate due to either inadequate supporting&rsquos or for whatever reason or where the visa could not be processed due to late submission of application by the Tour Participant the Company shall not be liable for the eventuality and lead to forfeiture of package amount paid and no claim whatsoever shall be entertained for the same.

Due to rejection of visa, delay in getting visa or non-processing of visa application due to any circumstances resulting in the Tour Participant not being able to travel on the tour originally booked then that package will considered as cancelled without any refund from us. However, we will try best to give him/her option to postpone the tour to another available date or change to any other tour by paying relevant reschedule charges given by the related service providers. GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable for these charges neither will entertain any claims or negotiations in this regard.

Visa policy are also given below in this terms and conditions which is also applicable in addition to above stated terms and conditions.
 

 

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Below policy will be applicable in case of cancellation, rescheduling or modification of package request given by client once confirmed booking with us:

*   Airlines tickets once issued are Non Refundable.

*  Advance token amount given for booking of land package will be forfeited.

*  If cancellation is made 45 days prior to departure, 25% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

*  If cancellation is made 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

*  If cancellation is made 30 to 14 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

* If cancellation is made 14 to 05 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

*  In case passenger is No Show at the time of Departure, 100% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

PAYMENT OF THE TOUR COST:

 

Payment shall be made as per the payment schedule provided, Email, WhatsApp, SMS  or any other ed information as informed at the time of booking. 

Payment can be made either online or by way of DD/cheque as specified to the Traveller. 

If any cheque towards the payment is dishonoured, or traveller /person fails to make rest payment on given deadline date to GALAXY TRAVELS, without notice to the Traveller / person, shall be entitled to cancel the entire booking without any liability and take recourse to appropriate legal remedy. 

Final s and airline tickets will be shared with the Traveller only after the balance payment is made to GALAXY TRAVELS by the Traveller.


For purpose of computing the cost of tour or refund, the foreign exchange components of the outbound tour will be calculated at the prevailing day&39s rate of exchange. And any increase or decrease in the rate of exchange may cause the cost of tour/ refund amount to change and the Traveller shall be bound to bear any such changes. 

GALAXY TRAVELS is not obligated in any circumstance to provide break&ndashup of the invoice for each of the service included in the package.

 

REFUNDS:

 

GALAXY TRAVELS is only a facilitator and any refund for any service(s) which are not delivered by the service provider /Independent Contractors or for any reason for which the Traveller is entitled for a refund is subject to GALAXY TRAVELS receiving the amount from the said service provider. Traveller acknowledges that GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held liable for any delay in refund or non-refund of the amount from the respective service provider or Independent Contractors of GALAXY TRAVELS. In such events the Traveller shall directly approach the service provider for any claims. 

In case the Traveller makes any changes in their accommodation while on the Outbound / Domestic Tour, GALAXY TRAVELS shall not refund or pay compensation in any manner whatsoever. The Traveller would also be liable to pay any additional sum that is required to be paid consequent to the aforesaid changes made in the accommodation. 

 

AMENDMENTS:

 

In the event of GALAXY TRAVELS amends or alters any tour or holiday after such a tour or holiday has been booked, the Traveller shall have the option to continue with the tour or holiday as amended/ altered, or to accept any alternative tour or holiday which GALAXY TRAVELS may offer. 

In either of these cases above, the Traveller shall not be entitled to nor GALAXY TRAVELS be liable to the Traveller for any damage, additional expenses or consequential loss suffered by the Traveller. GALAXY TRAVELS&rsquos liability in such cases shall be only to refund the amount of the cost of the said tour to the Traveller, after deducting the actual expenses incurred by GALAXY TRAVELS for the booking and other charges as applicable from case to case.

 

 

PROMOTION & DISCOUNTS:

 

GALAXY TRAVELS may, from time to time, launch some promotions and discount offers on the tour package internally or externally through advertisements and some Travellers in the group tour might receive additional benefits due to entitlement to such promotion and discounts. No claims from Travellers in the group for such privileges shall lie if they are not entitled for the discounts or eligible under the promotion. 

In case of publication of any travel scheme offering any discount or benefit by GALAXY TRAVELS, GALAXY TRAVELS shall have the sole right to withdraw such a scheme or discount at any time. 

 

 

TOUR ARRANGEMENTS & OTHER ACTIVITIES:

 

For tour arrangements like carnival, cosmos, star cruise, amusement parks, museums etc., the terms and conditions specified by such respective entities shall also be applicable.

It shall be the responsibility of the Traveller to reach the place of commencement of the tour and register with the representative of GALAXY TRAVELS/ tour guide/ tour manager at the appointed place, date and time. 

If a Traveller avails pre-tour services or part thereof, or the air tickets (cost of which is included in the main tour cost) but fails to join the group for the main tour at the appointed place, or cancels the tour after using the air tickets or pre-tour arrangements or part thereof, it shall be treated as "no show" and there will be no refund whatsoever for the unutilized pre-tour or main tour services. 

GALAXY TRAVELS cannot be held liable for any hazard to the health, safety and well-being of the Traveller in the course of availing any or all activities including adventure sports, Amusement park & rides, ferry ride, sightseeing or any other activity that may pose a threat of death or injury taken up by the Traveller. Any incidental damage or loss, injury, accident, death etc. Suffered in the due course of any such activity shall be at the sole risk and liability of the Traveller only.

 

 

COVID 19 RELATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Traveller agrees that due to recent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, which has been declared as a national disaster by the Government of India, there may be instances, where the end service provider either cancels the booking or refuses to provide the services, as agreed with the Traveller, by assigning or not assigning any specific reason for such refusal. Refusal of service may be due to the reasons including but not limited to the Traveller:

  • Exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID 19.
  • Refusing to comply with safety advisories, like wearing protective gear, complying with social distancing norms etc.
  • Suffering of any ailment making the Traveller vulnerable to the virus
  • Posing a threat to the health and safety of others
  • Not fulfilling Coivd-19 vaccination criteria

In such cases GALAXY TRAVELS will assume no liability for the refusal of service by the end service provider. The Traveller also agrees that refund, if any, for such bookings will be processed by GALAXY TRAVELS to the Traveller subject to receipt of the same from the end service provider. 

Traveller further understands that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Central Government through its ministries, State Governments and statutory bodies have/may come up with detailed set of guidelines or standard operating procedure (SOP) that a traveller will have to follow in order to undertake the travel. 

The Traveller agrees to abide with all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. Failure to abide by such detailed set of guidelines/SOP, may lead to a situation where the service provider or any person authorized by the Central Government, State Government or statutory body may disallow the Traveller to undertake the travel. In such circumstances, GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held liable for such refusal to travel and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the service provider 

Traveller understands that the Central Government, State Governments and various other bodies, may mandate providing Covid -19 vaccination status and certificate, Negative RT-PCR report from ICMR authorized lab, downloading of Arogya Setu App or submitting a self- declaration form prior to entering a transit point like airport, railway station etc. Or at the time of checking-in for a flight, into a hotel etc. Accordingly, the Traveller must ensure downloading of Arogya Setu App on their smartphones or provide any other alternate such as self-declaration when demanded.  

Traveller undertakes that all bookings are subject to certain minimum medical wellbeing criteria specified by the Govt. / appropriate authority from time to time including submitting Vaccination status and certificate, negative RT-PCR report or any other travel related guideline, especially in case of inbound travel. In this regard the Traveller may be required to furnish a medical proof or health declaration in a applicable format.

 

Country reserves right to admission in their country. Any country can ask any traveller to leave the country without giving any prior notice due to any reason,

 

Any country can ask traveller to leave its country/city/place if any person found Covid positive after reaching there. Galaxy Travels has no responsibility and liability for any kind of refund in this case.

 

In case the traveller is positive he/ she will have to undergo quarantine stay as per the rules and regulations of respective city/ state/ country at a Hotel on a chargeable basis (charges to be paid directly by the traveller), GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable for these charges neither will entertain any claims or negotiations in this regard.

 

It is manDatory to carry RT-PCR Negative test report along with traveller not old than 48 hours before travel time & date for all travellers.

Need to carry RT-PCR Negative Test report issued from an ICMR Recognized lab. The test should have been taken within 48 Hrs. to the commencement of the journey.

Please read and comply respective destination&39s latest covid guidlines for travellers before commencement of your travel, it can affect your travel and services, We are not liable of responsible in case of change of any of the policy.

Asymptomatic travellers has to be vaccinated with both doses of the COVID 19 vaccine and 15 days have lapsed since the administration of second dose of the vaccine, these travellers also have to produce the ID card / mentioned in the Vaccination Certificate, for verification purpose.

Travellers who are found symptomatic on arrival at destination place, irrespective of their vaccination status shall be subjected to RTPCR / Rapid Antigen Test at the airport terminal/ hotel/ any place to aid identification.

These above mentioned COVID 19 terms and condition is applicable on all kind of bookings and services i.e. Holiday package, Outbound & Domestic tours, flight tickets, hotel booking, cabs, bus ticket, Visa, Activity or any sightseeing booked from Galaxy Travels.

MISCELLANEOUS:

 

GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to withdraw tour membership of any Traveller whose behaviour is deemed likely to affect the smooth operation of the outbound / domestic tour or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers or place. GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for any damages due to such withdrawal. 

A transfer from one tour to another prior to the departure of the originally booked tour will be treated as a cancellation of the original tour and would attract the cancellation charges as stated hereunder and a fresh booking would have to be made at the prevalent rates.

Traveller agrees that that the end service provider may refuse to provide the service(s), agreed to be provided to the Traveller, for any booking made through GALAXY TRAVELS with/without assigning any reasons or owing to reasons including but not limited to behavioural issues, public safety, health hazards, infectious diseases, government orders/notification etc. In such scenarios of refusal, the liability that may ensue shall solely vest with the end service provider as it is outside the purview of GALAXY TRAVELS and the Traveller agrees that any claim, refund or damages against such refusal shall lie solely against the end service provider and not GALAXY TRAVELS.

 

GALAXY TRAVELS&39s employees or authorized representatives will never contact a Traveller asking for his/ her credit or debit card number, expiry date, CVV, net banking login, passwords, OTP etc. nor will they ever request for a fund transfer to a personal or an individual bank account. Further, they will also not ask a Traveller to install any third-party applications that enable them to view a Traveller&39s mobile or computer screen. 

Acting on any of these requests may make you a victim of fraud, and may potentially lead to loss of your valuable money or information. 

If you are ever asked for any of the aforesaid information, please report it immediately on infogalaxytravels.co.in.

 

The RBI mandates collection of PAN details for all transactions made under Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS)which include any international booking made on the Website or through Sales Channels. The Traveller warrants and confirms that PAN details of the Traveller/traveller will be shared by the Traveller on or before the cut-off date prescribed by GALAXY TRAVELS either at the time of booking or after the booking is made. In case the traveller is a minor, GALAXY TRAVELS will require PAN details of the parent/guardian of such minor. The Traveller further confirms that non-compliance of this requirement may result in cancellation of the booking. 

The Traveller warrants and confirms that the total amount of foreign exchange purchased or remitted during the current financial year, through all sources in India (including the current transaction) falls within the permissible limit prescribed by the RBI. The Traveller further confirms that foreign exchange, if any, purchased by Traveller for the purpose of international travel under the current booking will be utilized for the purpose indicated above. 

The Traveller authorizes GALAXY TRAVELS to retrieve Traveller&rsquos/ traveler&rsquos (in case booking on someone&rsquos behalf) PAN details from Travellers profile, previous bookings or share Traveller/traveller&rsquos data with third party(ies) for collecting or verifying PAN details solely for the purposes mentioned in this Agreement. 

The Traveller understands GALAXY TRAVELS does not collect Traveller&rsquos PAN details without consent. If the Traveller wishes to opt of providing the same or wishes to delete it if already provided, the Traveller may do so by accessing the profile information through the Desktop.  

The Traveller authorizes GALAXY TRAVELS to share Traveller/traveler data with third party(ies) for collecting or verifying PAN details of Traveller/traveler.

The Traveller must be atleast 18 years of age and must possess the legal authority to enter into an agreement so as become a Traveller and use the services of GALAXY TRAVELS. If you are a minor or are below the age of 18 years, you shall not register as a Traveller of the Website and shall not transact on or use the Website.

 

As a minor if you wish to use or transact on the Website, such use or transaction shall only be made by a person of legal contracting age (legal guardian or parents). We reserve the right to terminate your membership and/or block access to the Website if it is discovered that you are a minor or incompetent to contract according to the law or any information pertaining to your age entered at the time of creation of account is false.

 

Unless GALAXY TRAVELS explicitly acts as a reseller in certain scenarios, GALAXY TRAVELS always acts as a facilitator by connecting the Traveller with the respective service providers like airlines, hotels, restaurants, bus operators etc. (collectively referred to as "Service Providers"). GALAXY TRAVELS&39s liability is limited to providing the Traveller with a confirmed booking as selected by the Traveller.

 

Any issues or concerns faced by the Traveller at the time of availing any such services shall be the sole responsibility of the Service Provider. GALAXY TRAVELS will have no liability with respect to the acts, omissions, errors, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence on part of any Service Provider.

 

Unless explicitly committed by GALAXY TRAVELS as a part of any product or service:
 

  • GALAXY TRAVELS assumes no liability for the standard of services as provided by the respective Service Providers.
  • GALAXY TRAVELS provides no guarantee with regard to their quality or fitness as represented.
  • GALAXY TRAVELS doesn&39t guarantee the availability of any services as listed by a Service Provider.
 

By making a booking, Traveller understands GALAXY TRAVELS merely provides a technology platform for booking of services and products and the ultimate liability rests on the respective Service Provider and not GALAXY TRAVELS. Thus the ultimate contract of service is between Traveller and Service Provider.

Traveller further understands that the information displayed on the Website with respect to any service is displayed as furnished by the Service Provider. GALAXY TRAVELS, therefore cannot be held liable in case if the information provided by the Service Provider is found to be inaccurate, inadequate or obsolete or in contravention of any laws, rules, regulations or directions in force.

 

Galaxy Travels reserves the right to change the Agreement from time to time. The Traveller is responsible for regularly reviewing the Traveller Agreement.

 

Terms and conditions published on website of Galaxy Travels is also part of terms and condition given for booking of respective service to the traveler from Galaxy Travels.

 

The Website may contain links to third party websites. GALAXY TRAVELS does not control such websites and is not responsible for its contents. If a Traveller accesses any third-party website, the same shall be done entirely at the Traveller&39s risk and GALAXY TRAVELS shall assume no liability for the same.

 

GALAXY TRAVELS is not responsible for any errors, omissions or representations on any of its pages, links or any linked website pages to the extent such information is updated or provided directly by the Service Providers or the advertisers.

 

GALAXY TRAVELS does not endorse any advertisers on its Website, or any linked sites in any manner. The Travellers are requested to verify the accuracy of all information provided on the third-party web pages.

 

The linked sites are not under the control of GALAXY TRAVELS and hence GALAXY TRAVELS is not responsible for the contents of any linked site(s) or any further links on such site(s), or any changes or updates to such sites. GALAXY TRAVELS is providing these links to the Travellers only as a convenience.

 

During the journey if someone asks for extra money for any of the services included in the package, you may inform us and we will not be responsible if you pay the amount without our permission.

Air ticket is a part of holiday package once ticket issue then you have to take full package from us only.

Pictured shown above can be different from actual.

For extra persons, if included in the tour cost, we will be providing Extra Bed/Mattresses/Rollover bed only.

Galaxy Travels is not responsible or liable for any kind of refund or claims in case of any cancellation, modification or rescheduling occurs in holiday package due to cancellation or rescheduling of airlines, climate factor, natural disaster, political disturbances, strikes, Medical emergencies, threat of war, civil strife, riots, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural calamity, fire, acts of God, National / International Lock down, Covid spread, any epidemic or pandemic conditions, Labour unrest, insolvency, business exigencies, government decisions, terrorist activity, any operational and technical issues, route and flight cancellations, adverse weather conditions or any other reasons. GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for any losses made thereof.

The Traveller agrees and understands that all payments shall only be made to bank accounts of GALAXY TRAVELS. GALAXY TRAVELS or its agents, representatives or employees shall never ask a customer to transfer money to any private account or to an account not held in the name of GALAXY TRAVELS. The Traveller agrees that if that Traveller transfers any amount against any booking or transaction to any bank account that is not legitimately held by GALAXY TRAVELS or to any personal account of any person, GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held liable for the same. Traveller shall not hold any right to recover from GALAXY TRAVELS any amount which is transferred by the Traveller to any third party.

Travel insurance is strictly advised during travel, any kind of casualty happens during the trip due to any reason, Galaxy Travels is not responsible or liable for any kind of claims.

Entry fees to monuments, sanctuaries, museums etc have been included in the package.

Please reach airport 180mins prior to departure time of flight in case of international flight and 120 mins prior to departure time in case of domestic flight. Galaxy Travels will not be liable or responsible for any claim or refund if traveller reaches airport late and denied to board the flight due to his/her late arrival at airport or in case of no show.

Also note that video & audio systems are prohibited in commercial vehicles as per law and we do not guarantee those facilities.

We do not accept any amendment or cancellation for running packages.

To travel to any international destination, your passport must have a minimum validity of 06 months from your planned date of return. In failure of this passenger will not be eligible to travel outside India and neither to board the flight. Galaxy Travels will not be responsible or liable for any such refunds and claims to client in this case.

Full tour amount needs to be completed by the customer as per the schedule mentioned in the invoice & therefore, full payment has to be done minimum 30 Days before the travel start date.

If cancellation request given by client after booking then advance given token amount will be non-refundable additional to terms & conditions as per mention in cancellation policy.

Certain hotels/villas/resort in abroad or in India may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotels policy

Galaxy Travels officials or representatives will NEVER ask you for your personal information i.e. your credit/debit card details, passwords, PIN, CVV, OTP, etc. Please do not share these details with anyone over the phone, SMS, Whatsapp, email or any other sources.

In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category

In some airlines food and beverages are on chargeable basis.

Its traveller&rsquos responsibility to reconfirm the departure time, terminal and the flight schedule of his/her flight from the airline 24 hours before leaving for the airport. Galaxy Travels has no responsibility . Kindly inform us in advance so that we can try to rearrange pick up and upcoming service for you (Note: rearranging any service in this case would be subject to availability by our supplier with respective charges if any.)

Please note that if your package includes a flight which is a low-cost carrier (Malindo, Air Asia, Scoot Airlines, Air Arabia, Jetstar, Fly Dubai, Thai AirAsia, Air India Express, Tiger Airways, Viet Jet Indigo Airlines, Go Air, SpiceJet, Fly Dubai etc.) then baggage and meals will not be included in the package. However Baggage can be added as per your requirement at an additional cost depending on the airlines and destination at the time of booking of Air tickets only. Also combined seating of passengers during air travel is not guaranteed by airlines nor can we do.

Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day

The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. Galaxy Travels will not bear any liability of amount loss for the name change, if incorrect names and date of birth or any other passport details have been given at the time of booking

If payment is not made as per the schedule provided, Galaxy Travels reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.

Hotel/ Property can be change because of unavoidable reasons.

Transfers and Sightseeing tours are as per itinerary given on point to point basis only.

The request for an adjacent or an adjoining room will be on subject to availability.

It is mandatory to carry the age proof of children (02 to 11 years) and infant (below 02yrs) along with other travel s. Child above than 11 years shall be considered for an adult cost.

Airfare is subject is included and subject to availability and can be increase at the time of final confirmation.

No Airlines will allow to on board a pregnant lady having pregnancy of 24 weeks or More, please check yourself before booking.

In flight no seat is provided to Infant.

Room allocation (Twin bed / Double bed or any location preference) is at the discretion of the hotel at the time of check in Numbers of meals are always corresponding to the number of nights booked. Breakfast is not provided on the day of arrival.

Complementary freebies for Honeymooners or regular traveller are given by the hotel, however they are subject to availability at the hotel and hotel has right to change or withdraw at any time, Galaxy Travels is not liable or responsible for any refund or claim for these goods and services.

For early check in and late check out the payment is to be settled directly by the guest.

Hotel has the right to claim the damages incurred by any of the guest.

The guests are requested to take care of their personal belongings carefully and avoid leaving them unattended.

Do take care of your personal belongings, Galaxy Travels is not liable or responsible for any refund or claim for your lost things.

All disputes are subject to Gurugram jurisdiction only.

Some hotels/ Villa may ask for Refundable security deposit which has to given by the client at the time of check in.

Proper swim wears are necessary to avail the swimming pool facility.

Cost of additional services availed by the guest which are not part of our package inclusions are to be settled directly at the hotel.

Mini bar facility available in the hotels is on chargeable basis. Buffet meal if included will be provided at fixed venue decided by the hotel.

Timings: Breakfast: 0800 - 1000 hrs  Lunch: 1300 - 1500 hrs Dinner: 1930 - 2200 hrs(Generally) (These are the standard buffet timings observed by the hotels. After the customer has paid full tour/flight amount, Galaxy Travels will reconfirm each services, activities, tours and Hotels with full & final payment to respective service providers and local partners. In case due to the delayed payment clearance by the customer the availability of anything is lost or prices are increased, we will first aim to provide similar services/hotels in the original amount charged to the customer & in case of no availability at all of similar services/hotels, the customer will have to pay the difference in the amount. (ex. New price of the service/hotel minus (-) original price charged for the same = amount X to be paid by customer as difference)

Travelers Valid Pan Card and Passport is required for booking package.

Kindly check your entire Air ticket and hotel voucher issued on delivery date, any correction or any error will not be liable or responsible after that day.

In case you want to cancel only one passenger out of two (or in proportion when more passengers are travelling), the 2nd passenger will have to pay for single occupancy which will be calculated at the time of cancellation or will have to cancel both the passengers. It is not possible to cancel only one passenger out of two (or in proportion when more passengers are travelling).

You are requested to deposit total package amount at least 30 days prior trip starting date to ensure smooth operations and to avoid any last minute hassles.

Vouchers provided against the booking need to be verified by the customer and any discrepancy should be brought to notice within 24 hours from the date of receipt of the vouchers.

If client want any change in the itinerary / hotels / inclusions post booking must be recorded in writing between client and GALAXY TRAVELS at extra additional charges if applicable. Any other form of communication regarding changes will not be entertained in cases of dispute.

All special requests like early check-In, late check-out, smoking room, non- smoking room, room with views, floors, king bed, twin bed, adjoining and / or interconnecting rooms are under hotel discretion and is strictly subject to availability. It cannot be guaranteed in prior by GALAXY TRAVELS.

GALAXY TRAVELS does not guarantee the hotel room services and food quality. However, in case of any concern, you may reach out to us immediately so that timely action can be taken.

GALAXY TRAVELS does not take guarantee for any services revoked from the hotel or any service provider company without prior notice. For meals included in the package, hotel menu is preset (on buffet basis) and specific choice of meal may not be available.

For SIC (shared) transfers, please reach SIC pick up spot at least 15 minutes prior to boarding time - any delay by customer in reporting on time may lead to loss of service and will not be refundable by GALAXY TRAVELS.

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for any losses incurred by the customers due to violation of rules of local government. In case on any currency fluctuations or amendment in local Government taxes,

GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to adjust the package amount accordingly.

Customers should take responsibility of their own luggage. Cab drivers do not provide porter services and cannot be held liable for any such loss.

GALAXY TRAVELS is not liable for any loss or damage of personal belongings like mobile, tab, laptop, ornaments, etc.

In case hotel become sold out we will provide you similar category option for that hotel but Flight booked will be Non-refundable once issued for that package.

In case of non-compliance of payment terms, GALAXY TRAVELS reserves the right to cancel the booking at any point of time without any refund.

If due to unforeseen circumstances, the customer has to pay for the inclusions already mentioned in the package, refund claim for the inclusions may be considered and refunded upon submission of proper receipts, provided this was pre-informed to GALAXY TRAVELS.

Cancellation amount will be calculated as per total booking amount whether we have received full booking amount or not. If you have paid only advance (part payment of total booking amount) then you have to pay rest of the amount in case of cancellation at any point of time.

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held liable for any impact due to change in original itinerary by the customer. Any amendments / additions to package (dates, inclusions, flights, No. of persons and itinerary) post booking confirmation will be done as per cancellation policy of the original package and customer has to bear the cost (if any) incurred due to this.

Every hotel has its own standard check-in time varying from 09:00 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. & Check Out time from 9 A:M to 12 P:M. Check-in & Check Out time of the hotels would be standard unless specified otherwise. Clients are advised to follow up with the hotel directly regarding early check-in or late check-out. It is strictly subjected to availability and may be chargeable by the hotel.

Some hotels request a credit-card deposit upon check-in to cover any incidental charges. Unused funds will be refunded upon check-out. Some hotels may accept a cash deposit in lieu but this cannot be guaranteed. It is the clients duty to reverse the credit card charge on check out. All extras to be paid directly to the hotels / the service providers.

Some hotels do not allow unmarried / unrelated couples to check-in. This is at full discretion of the hotel management.

Traveller must possess a International or Country specific driving license to self-drive any vehicle in any country.

No refund would be applicable under above circumstances (Passport in case of travelling out of country/Driving License / Voter ID card / Aadhar card) of all the travellers during the trip. Hotel may deny check-in if proper ID proofs are not presented at the time of check-in.

The services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. GALAXY TRAVELS may change the features or functionality of the services being provided at any time, in its sole discretion, without any prior notice. GALAXY TRAVELS expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, reasonably fit for all purposes. No advice or information, whether oral or written, which the Traveller obtains from GALAXY TRAVELS or through the services opted shall create any warranty not expressly made herein or in the terms and conditions of the services. 

Traveller also authorizes GALAXY TRAVELS&39s representative to contact such Traveller over phone, message and email. This consent shall supersede any preferences set by such Traveller through national customer preference register (NCPR) or any other similar preferences.

100% amount needs to be paid for flight tickets in advance for issuance of tickets unless specified otherwise if flight fare has increased / decreased by the time payment reaches us, then the same shall be borne by the client and the quotation would be revised accordingly.

GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable for any losses incurred due to any delays made by the customer. Please ensure that you follow the timings as per the itinerary/tour voucher.

The itineraries are designed in a manner so that all the sightseeing / activities are covered within the stipulated time period. If any sightseeing / activity is missed due to extension of stay over the advised time-period at a particular destination, then GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held liable for the same.

Customers cannot change the itinerary during the trip unless the same has been pre-informed and assented by GALAXY TRAVELS. In case of change of itinerary by customer without prior information, GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable for any non-delivery of inclusions.

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held liable for any impact due to change in original itinerary by the customer. Any amendments / additions to package (dates, inclusions, flights, and itinerary) post booking confirmation will be done as per cancellation policy of the original package and respective service providers. Customer has to bear the cost (if any) incurred due to this.

As a 3rd person in a triple room, a roll away cot, Extra mattress may be provided while as a 3rd in a double room, no bed or cot will be provided to the child below 12 years.

Maximum 3 persons are allowed per room in most of the hotels. Some hotels generally do not have air conditioner or fan due to favourable weather condition. Triple rooms are usually no larger than twin rooms.

Token money / Booking advance once given will be non-refundable if client cancel package afterwards due to any reason.

Room size, style, design and architecture are designed by the hotel management, no complaints and no refunds will be entertained on this and Galaxy Travels will not liable for it.

Every hotel/resort/villa etc is made at unique place and have its own beauty and concept, no refund will be given if you do not like it at the time of Check In Nor the hotel/resort/villa will be changed, Please check Hotel/resort/villa and its location location at the time of option given to you.

Every hotel/resort/villa maintains its property very neat and clean however in case untidiness, pesticide problem, broken infrastructure, kindly report to hotel front office first. GALAXY TRAVELS will try its best to take appropriate action against the same and try to do best possible for you. However, GALAXY TRAVELS is not obligated for the same and cannot be held liable for any claim or refund against it. No refund would be applicable under above circumstances.

FLIGHT TICKET

TERMS OF THE AIRLINES

 

The airline tickets available are subject to the terms & conditions of the concerned airline, including but not limited to cancellation and refund policies.

 

GALAXY TRAVELS merely acts as a facilitator to enable the Traveller to book a flight ticket. The contract of service for utilization of the flight is always between the Traveller and the concerned airline.

 

Airlines retain the right to reschedule flight times, route, change or cancel flights or itineraries independent of and without prior intimation to GALAXY TRAVELS. As a facilitator GALAXY TRAVELS has no control or authority over the logistics of the airlines and therefore is not liable for any loss, direct or incidental, that a Traveller may incur due to such change or cancellation of a flight.

 

Different tickets on the same airline may carry different restrictions or include different services and price.

 

The baggage allowance on given fare is as per the terms decided by the airline, and GALAXY TRAVELS has no role to play in the same. Some of the fares shown in the booking flow are "hand baggage fares" which do not entitle the Traveller for free check in baggage and therefore the Traveller will be required to pay separately for check in baggage. The prices for adding check-in baggage to a booking may vary from airline to airline. The Traveller is advised to contact the airlines for detailed costs.

 

CODE SHARE

 

Some airlines enter into "code share" agreements with other Airlines. This means that on certain routes, the airline carrier selling or marketing the flight ticker does not fly its own aircraft to that destination. Instead, it contracts or partners with another airline to fly to that destination. The partner airline is listed as "operated by" in the booking flow.

 

GALAXY TRAVELS will disclose any such code-share arrangements to the Traveller, only when the ticketing airline discloses it to GALAXY TRAVELS in the first place.

 

PRICING

 

The total price displayed on the Website on the payment page usually includes base fare, applicable government taxes and convenience fee. Travellers are required to pay the entire amount prior to the confirmation of their booking(s). In the event the Traveller does not pay the entire amount, GALAXY TRAVELS reserves its right to cancel the booking. Traveller agrees to pay all statutory taxes, surcharges and fees, as applicable on the date of travel. 

To avail infant fares, the age of the child must be under 24 months throughout the entire itinerary. This includes both onward and return journeys. If the infant is 24 months or above on the return journey, Traveller will be required to make a separate booking using a child fare. Any infants or children must be accompanied by an adult as per the terms of the airlines. 

 

 

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

 

It shall be the sole responsibility of the Traveller to ensure they are in possession of valid travel s such as identity proof, passport, visa (including transit visa) etc. To undertake the travel. Traveller agrees that in case of inability to travel for not carrying valid travel s, GALAXY TRAVELS shall in no way be held liable.

 

Traveller understands that the information (if any) provided by GALAXY TRAVELS regarding the travel s is only advisory in nature and can&39t be considered conclusive. The Traveller shall ensure checking the requirements of travel with the respective airlines of the respective jurisdictions the Traveller may transit through or choose to visit.

 

CHECK-IN TERMS

 

Traveller should check with the airlines directly regarding the check-in timings. Usually, check-in begins 2 hours before departure for domestic flights, and 3 hours before departure for international flights.

 

Traveller should carry valid identification proofs, passport, age proofs as may be required to prove the identity, nationality and age of the passengers travelling on a ticket, including infants.

 

USE OF FLIGHT SEGMENTS

 

In the event Traveller does not embark on the onward journey, the entire PNR pertaining to that booking shall be automatically cancelled by the airline. In such a scenario GALAXY TRAVELS has no control in the said process nor will be obligated to provide alternate bookings to the Traveller. The cancellation penalty in such an event shall be as per the applicable airline rules.

 

CHANGES TO EXISTING BOOKING

 

Any changes that are made to any existing booking shall be subject to certain charges levied by the respective airline, apart from the service fee charged by GALAXY TRAVELS.

 

The Traveller shall be obligated to pay applicable charges in the event of any alteration or modification to an existing booking. However, depending on the airline&39s policy and fare class, charges for changes or modifications to existing bookings may vary.

 

REFUND

 

Refunds will be processed as per the airline fare rules and cancellation policy. Such refunds shall be subject to GALAXY TRAVELS receiving the same from the airlines. However, the convenience fee paid to GALAXY TRAVELS paid at the time of booking is a non-refundable fee. 

All cancellations made directly with the airline need to be intimated to GALAXY TRAVELS, in order to initiate the process of refund. The processing time for refunds may vary depending on the airlines, mode of payment, bank etc. The refund shall be processed after deducting the GALAXY TRAVELS service fee which is independent of the convenience fee as mentioned above. 

The refund will be credited to the same account from which the payment was made. For example, if the Traveller used a credit card, GALAXY TRAVELS will make an appropriate charge reversal to the same credit card like-wise if the Traveller used a debit card, GALAXY TRAVELS will credit the money to the same debit card. 

In the event of cancellation and refund of partially utilized tickets, upfront discount and promo code discount availed at the time of booking would be deducted from the refund amount.

 

COVID 19 RELATED TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Traveller agrees that due to recent outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic, which has been declared as a national disaster by the Government of India, there may be instances, where the end service provider either cancels the booking or refuses to provide the services, as agreed with the Traveller, by assigning or not assigning any specific reason for such refusal. Refusal of service may be due to the reasons including but not limited to the Traveller:

  • Exhibiting any symptoms associated with COVID 19.
  • Refusing to comply with safety advisories, like wearing protective gear, complying with social distancing norms etc.
  • Suffering of any ailment making the Traveller vulnerable to the virus
  • Posing a threat to the health and safety of others
  • Not fulfilling Coivd-19 vaccination criteria

In such cases GALAXY TRAVELS will assume no liability for the refusal of service by the end service provider. The Traveller also agrees that refund, if any, for such bookings will be processed by GALAXY TRAVELS to the Traveller subject to receipt of the same from the end service provider. 

Traveller further understands that due to the outbreak of COVID-19, the Central Government through its ministries, State Governments and statutory bodies have/may come up with detailed set of guidelines or standard operating procedure (SOP) that a traveller will have to follow in order to undertake the travel. 

The Traveller agrees to abide with all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. Failure to abide by such detailed set of guidelines/SOP, may lead to a situation where the service provider or any person authorized by the Central Government, State Government or statutory body may disallow the Traveller to undertake the travel. In such circumstances, GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held liable for such refusal to travel and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the service provider 

Traveller understands that the Central Government, State Governments and various other bodies, may mandate providing Covid -19 vaccination status and certificate, Negative RT-PCR report from ICMR authorized lab, downloading of Arogya Setu App or submitting a self- declaration form prior to entering a transit point like airport, railway station etc. Or at the time of checking-in for a flight, into a hotel etc. Accordingly, the Traveller must ensure downloading of Arogya Setu App on their smartphones or provide any other alternate such as self-declaration when demanded.  

Traveller undertakes that all bookings are subject to certain minimum medical wellbeing criteria specified by the Govt. / appropriate authority from time to time including submitting Vaccination status and certificate, negative RT-PCR report or any other travel related guideline, especially in case of inbound travel. In this regard the Traveller may be required to furnish a medical proof or health declaration in a applicable format.

Country reserves right to admission in their country. Any country can ask any traveller to leave the country without giving any prior notice due to any reason,

Any country can ask traveller to leave its country/city/place if any person found Covid positive after reaching there. Galaxy Travels has no responsibility and liability for any kind of refund in this case.

In case the traveller is positive he/ she will have to undergo quarantine stay as per the rules and regulations of respective city/ state/ country at a Hotel on a chargeable basis (charges to be paid directly by the traveller), GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable for these charges neither will entertain any claims or negotiations in this regard.

It is mandatory to carry RT-PCR Negative test report along with traveller not old than 48 hours before travel time & date for all travellers.

Asymptomatic travellers has to be vaccinated with both doses of the COVID 19 vaccine and 15 days have lapsed since the administration of second dose of the vaccine, these travellers also have to produce the ID card / mentioned in the Vaccination Certificate, for verification purpose.

Travellers who are found symptomatic on arrival at destination place, irrespective of their vaccination status shall be subjected to RTPCR / Rapid Antigen Test at the airport terminal/ hotel/ any place to aid identification.

These above mentioned COVID 19 terms and condition is applicable on all kind of bookings and services i.e. Holiday package, Outbound & Domestic tours, flight tickets, hotel booking, cabs, bus ticket, Visa, Activity or any sightseeing booked from Galaxy Travels.

Hotels

ROLE OF GALAXY TRAVELS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF GALAXY TRAVELS

 

GALAXY TRAVELS acts as a facilitator and merely provides an platform to the Traveller to book hotel. Hotels in this context includes all categories of accommodations such as hotels, home-stays, bed and breakfast stays, farm-houses and any other alternate accommodations. 

All the information pertaining to the hotel including the category of the hotel, images, room type, amenities and facilities available at the hotel are as per the information provided by the hotel & its references to GALAXY TRAVELS. This information is for reference only. Any discrepancy that may exist between the website pictures and actual settings of the hotel shall be raised by the Traveller with the hotel directly, and shall be resolved between the Traveller and hotel. GALAXY TRAVELS will have no responsibility in that process of resolution, and shall not take any liability for such discrepancies. 

 

INFORMATION FROM THE HOTEL AND THE TERMS OF THE HOTEL

 

The hotel booking voucher which GALAXY TRAVELS issues to a Traveller is solely based on the information provided or updated by the hotel regarding the inventory availability. In no circumstances can GALAXY TRAVELS be held liable for failure on part of a hotel to accommodate the Traveller with a confirmed booking, the standard of service or any insufficiency in the services, or any other service related issues at the hotel. The liability of GALAXY TRAVELS in case of denial of check-in by a hotel for any reason what-so-ever including over-booking, system or technical errors, or unavailability of rooms etc., will be limited to either providing a similar alternate accommodation at the discretion of GALAXY TRAVELS (subject to availability at that time), or refunding the booking amount (to the extent paid) to the Traveller. Any other service related issues should be directly resolved by the Traveller with the hotel. 

Hotels reserves the sole right of admission and GALAXY TRAVELS has no say whatsoever in admission or denial for admission by the hotel. Unmarried or unrelated couples may not be allowed to check-in by some hotels as per their policies. Similarly, accommodation may be denied to guests posing as a couple if suitable proof of identification is not presented at the time check-in. Some hotels may also not allow local residents to check-in as guests. GALAXY TRAVELS will not be responsible for any check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reasons or any other reason not under the control of GALAXY TRAVELS. No refund would be applicable in case the hotel denies check-in under such circumstances. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAVELLER

 

The Traveller would be liable to make good any damage(s) caused by any act of him/ her/ or their accompanying guests (wilful/negligent) to the property of the hotel in any manner whatsoever. The extent and the amount of the damage so caused would be determined by the concerned hotel. GALAXY TRAVELS would not, in any way, intervene in the same. 

The primary guest must be at least 18 years old to be able to check into the hotel. 

The Traveller has to be in possession of a valid photo identity proof and address proof, at the time of check-in. The hotel shall be within its rights to deny check-in to a Traveller if a valid photo identity proof is not presented at the time of check-in. 

Check-in time, check-out time, and any changes in those timings, will be as per hotel policy & terms. Early check-in or late check-out request is subject to availability and the hotel may charge an additional fee for providing such services. 

 

ADDITIONAL CHARGES BY THE HOTEL

 

The booking amount paid by the Traveller is only for stay at the hotel. Some bookings may include breakfast and/ or meals as confirmed at the time of booking. Any other services utilized by the Traveller at the hotel, including laundry, room service, internet, telephone, extra food, drinks, beverages etc. Shall be paid by the Traveller directly to the hotel. 

Hotels may charge a mandatory meal surcharge on festive periods like Christmas, New Year&39s Eve or other festivals as decided by the hotel. All additional charges (including mandatory meal surcharges) need to be cleared directly at the hotel. GALAXY TRAVELS will have no control over waiving the same. 

 

PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS AND ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS

 

The total booking amount is paid by the Traveller at the time of booking itself. Such total booking amount includes the hotel reservation rate, taxes, service fees as may be charged on behalf of the actual service provider, and any additional booking fee or convenience fee charged by GALAXY TRAVELS.  

Some banks and card issuing companies charge their account holders a transaction fee when the card issuer and the merchant location (as defined by the card brand, e.g. Visa, mastercard, American Express) are in different countries. If a Traveller has any questions about the fees or any exchange rate applied, they may contact their bank or the card issuing company through which payment was made. 

Some accommodation suppliers may require Traveller and/or the other persons, on behalf of whom the booking is made, to present a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in to cover additional expenses that may be incurred during their stay. Such deposit is unrelated to any payment received by GALAXY TRAVELS and solely at the behest of the Hotel.

The Traveller agrees to abide with all such guidelines/SOP while undertaking any travel. Failure to abide by such detailed set of guidelines/SOP, may lead to a situation where the service provider or any person authorized by the Central Government, State Government or statutory body may disallow the Traveller to undertake the travel. In such circumstances, GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held liable for such refusal to travel and refund, if any, shall be strictly as per the terms of the service provider 

Traveller understands that the Central Government, State Governments and various other bodies, may mandate providing Covid -19 vaccination status and certificate, Negative RT-PCR report from ICMR authorized lab, downloading of Arogya Setu App or submitting a self- declaration form prior to entering a transit point like airport, railway station etc. Or at the time of checking-in for a flight, into a hotel etc. Accordingly, the Traveller must ensure downloading of Arogya Setu App on their smartphones or provide any other alternate such as self-declaration when demanded.  

Traveller undertakes that all bookings are subject to certain minimum medical wellbeing criteria specified by the Govt. / appropriate authority from time to time including submitting Vaccination status and certificate, negative RT-PCR report or any other travel related guideline, especially in case of inbound travel. In this regard the Traveller may be required to furnish a medical proof or health declaration in a applicable format.

 

Country reserves right to admission in their country. Any country can ask any traveller to leave the country without giving any prior notice due to any reason,

Any country can ask traveller to leave its country/city/place if any person found Covid positive after reaching there. Galaxy Travels has no responsibility and liability for any kind of refund in this case.

In case the traveller is positive he/ she will have to undergo quarantine stay as per the rules and regulations of respective city/ state/ country at a Hotel on a chargeable basis (charges to be paid directly by the traveller), GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable for these charges neither will entertain any claims or negotiations in this regard.

It is mandatory to carry RT-PCR Negative test report along with traveller not old than 48 hours before travel time & date for all travellers.

Asymptomatic travellers has to be vaccinated with both doses of the COVID 19 vaccine and 15 days have lapsed since the administration of second dose of the vaccine, these travellers also have to produce the ID card / mentioned in the Vaccination Certificate, for verification purpose.

Travellers who are found symptomatic on arrival at destination place, irrespective of their vaccination status shall be subjected to RTPCR / Rapid Antigen Test at the airport terminal/ hotel/ any place to aid identification.

These above mentioned COVID 19 terms and condition is applicable on all kind of bookings and services i.e. Holiday package, Outbound & Domestic tours, flight tickets, hotel booking, cabs, bus ticket, Visa, Activity or any sightseeing booked from Galaxy Travels.

BUS TICKET BOOKING

ROLE OF GALAXY TRAVELS

 

GALAXY TRAVELS only provides a technology platform that connects intending travellers with bus operators. It doesn&39t operate any bus or offer the service of transportation to the Traveller. GALAXY TRAVELS also doesn&39t act as an agent of any bus operator in the process of providing the above-mentioned platform services. 

The bus ticket booking voucher which GALAXY TRAVELS issues to a Traveller is solely based on the information provided or updated by the bus operator regarding the seat availability. 

The amenities, services, routes, fares, schedule, bus type, seat availability and any other details pertaining to the bus service are provided by the respective bus operator and GALAXY TRAVELS has no control over such information provided by the bus operator. 

 

 

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY OF GALAXY TRAVELS

 

In its role as a platform to facilitate transactions between the bus operators and the Travellers, GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be responsible for the operations of the bus operator including, but not limited to the following: 

  • Timely departure or arrival of the bus
  • The conduct of bus operator&39s employees, representatives or agents
  • The condition of the bus, seats etc. Not being up to the customer&39s expectation or as per the deion provided by the bus operator
  • Cancellation of the trip due to any reasons
  • Loss or damage of the baggage of the customer
  • The bus operator changing a customer&39s seat for any reason whatsoever
  • Bus operator informing a wrong boarding point for the issuance of the booking confirmation voucher, or changing such boarding point eventually with or without any notification to GALAXY TRAVELS or the Traveller
  • Bus operator using a separate pick-up vehicle to transport the Traveller from the designated boarding point to the actual place of departure of the bus.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAVELLERS

 

Travellers are advised to call the bus operator to find out the exact boarding point, or any information which they may need for the purpose of boarding or travel in that trip. 

At the time of boarding the bus, Travellers shall furnish a copy of the ticket, and any valid identity proof like Aadhar card, passport, PAN card or voter identification card or any other valid photo identity proof issued by a government authority. 

Travellers are required to reach the boarding place atleast 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time. 

All tickets issued shall be non-transferable. 

Traveller needs to compulsorily obtain a bus ticket at the regular fare in case a child above the age of 5 years is accompanied by them, unless otherwise a particular bus operator specifies otherwise in their terms and conditions.

 

CANCELLATION OF TICKET

Any cancellation is subject to such cancellation charges as mentioned on the ticket.

CAB BOOKING

DEFINITIONS

 

"Cab" as may be used in this includes all categories of transport vehicles like sedans, hatchbacks, sport utility vehicles, multi utility vehicles, and any other vehicle meant for transporting passengers. 

"Cab Operator" means all the cab operators providing their vehicles along with their drivers 

 

 

TYPES OF CAB BOOKINGS FACILITATED BY GALAXY TRAVELS

 

GALAXY TRAVELS provides following types of options to its Traveller(s):
 

  • Outstation Cab: This enables Traveller(s) to book vehicles operated by cab operators operating between two separate cities. On the basis of the demand/requirement of the Traveller, GALAXY TRAVELS as a facilitator connects the Traveller with the concerned cab operator.
  • Car Rental (intracity and intercity): This enables Traveller to book vehicles operated by cab operators on hire/rental basis. This service shall be provided for both intercity and intracity on exclusive basis by booking the entire Vehicle of the cab/taxi operators.
  • Airport Drop: This shall exclusively cater to the needs of Traveller intending to travel from and to the Airport. The service provided is intracity in nature and shall not facilitate the Traveller to book intercity Airport drops.
 

ROLE OF GALAXY TRAVELS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

GALAXY TRAVELS does not operate cab services on its own. In order to provide a comprehensive choice of cab services, cab types and prices to Traveller, it has tied up with many Cab Operators. 

GALAXY TRAVELS acts only acts a facilitator between the Cab Operator and Traveller. The transaction is always between the Cab Operator and the Traveller. 

It is the sole responsibility of the Cab Operator to ensure it has all the requisite licenses, approvals, insurance and permits from appropriate authorities required to undertake the travel booked. GALAXY TRAVELS gives no warranty or assurance in regard to requisite licenses, approvals, insurance and permits which the Cab Operator is supposed to obtain from appropriate authorities. 

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be responsible or liable in any manner whatsoever for any claims with respect to the trip including without limitation, claims pertaining to timeliness, safety, continuity, uninterrupted travel, quality, conditions of vehicle or driving skill, the Cab not departing or reaching on time, behaviour of the cab driver, interiors of the Cab, vehicle breakdown, cancellation of the trip by the Cab Operator due to any reason whatsoever, the baggage of the Traveller getting lost, stolen or damaged, the Cab Operator providing a different type of Cab to the Traveller, the Traveller waiting at the wrong boarding point, the Traveller being dropped to nearest location by the driver of the Cab due to any unavoidable circumstances, or any act or omission of Cab Operator causing accident, loss of life to the Traveller or accompanying travellers.

GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable to Traveller or to any other person for any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential loss, damage, cost or expense of any kind whatsoever and howsoever caused from.


In case of break down or accident of Cab where Cab Operator has been unable to make alternative arrangement, any claims, liabilities or legal costs arising out of such event shall be borne by the Cab Operator. 
 

 

PAYMENT FOR BOOKINGS AND ANY ADDITIONAL PAYMENTS

 


The total booking amount is paid by the Traveller at the time of booking itself. Such total booking amount includes the base fare, applicable taxes, and any additional booking fee, service or convenience fee charged by GALAXY TRAVELS. 

In "Part Payment" model, the Traveller is required to pay a specific percentage of the total booking amount at the time of making the booking and balance payment shall be made directly to the driver at the time of check-in. 

In case of Car Rental and Outstation Cab bookings, the booking amount paid does not include toll charges, interstate taxes, passenger taxes or any other applicable levies and the same shall be borne by the Traveller. 

Expenses like toll charges, permit charges, parking charges, entry fees, Service Tax & any other Government Tax as per Government guidelines are to be borne by the Traveller and paid directly to the driver. 

The estimate cost provided at the time of booking is not to be construed as the final pricing for your trip unless specifically indicated. The final amount for your trip will be calculated based on actual usage (number of Kilometres and hours). Distance and time are calculated from garage to garage and not from the pick-up of the Traveller for both within city and outside city trips. 

The travel allowance wherever applicable has to be paid directly to the driver. 

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAVELLERS

 

The Traveller must carry a valid photo-id proof during the trip and present the same to the Cab Operator or driver of the Cab before boarding the Cab. In the event of a mismatch in the identity of the Traveller or traveller, the Cab Operator or the driver of the Cab may, at their discretion, deny boarding to such Traveller. 

Cab Operator is obligated to commence the trip as soon as the Traveller boards the Cab. Traveller shall report to GALAXY TRAVELS in case the driver denies to commence the trip for any reason whatsoever. 

Traveller shall board the Cab on or within such time as informed at the time of booking or provided in the booking voucher. In case the Traveller fails to board the cab within the given timeline, Cab Operator will have the liberty to cancel the booking without informing the Traveller. 

Traveller will not have any right, title or interest in the Cab provided for the given trip. 

Once a Trip is booked by Traveller, changes in departure time, boarding or dropping points are not permitted. 

Any failure by Traveller to board the Vehicle within the given timelines at the boarding point or trip commencement point, shall result in forfeiture of the total booking amount paid by the Traveller without any refund rights. 

Traveller shall stop and take breaks at specified places only. Traveller shall avoid taking additional breaks except in case of emergency. 

Traveller shall be responsible and liable for their own safety and security of luggage. GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be responsible for any loss to Traveller or their luggage in any event. 

In the event of any dissatisfaction with any of the services provided by Cab Operator or GALAXY TRAVELS, the matter must be reported directly to Cab Operator or GALAXY TRAVELS, in order that appropriate action may be taken to remedy the problem. 

The booking made by the Traveller should be strictly for tourism purposes only. 

The trip should be undertaken in the Traveller&39s personal capacity and shall not be used for profit making in any commercial context.

 

DO&39s AND DON&39Ts FOR THE TRAVELLER

 

THE TRAVELLER SHALL:
 

  • Arrive on time at the appointed pick up point as mutually agreed with Cab Operator
  • Maintain and ensure good and humble conduct with Cab Operator during the trip and on failure to do so, Cab Operator may require such Traveller to disembark the Cab
  • Prior to commencement of trip, check and agree with Cab Operator on dimension/weight of the luggage that can be accommodated in the boot space of the Cab
  • Check the starting time and the reading on the odometer at the start of the trip. Disputes regarding the same will not be acceptable after completion of journey.
 

THE TRAVELLER SHALL NOT:
 

  • Ask Cab Operator to violate any traffic rules, or the city police or government rules or other applicable laws for any reason whatsoever
  • Coerce Cab Operator to overload the boot space of the Vehicle with the Traveller&39s luggage
  • Use services offered under this head for any purpose which is unlawful or illegal under the applicable laws
  • Insist on disembarking at any place expect the point of drop as provided by the Traveller at the time of booking
  • Board the Cab if he/ she is intoxicated or under influence of any drug or similar abusive substances.

 

 

Activities and other Services

 

DEFINITIONS

 

&39Activity&39 includes day tours & sightseeing, spa & wellness, adventure sports, cruise, theme/ amusement parks, buffets & dining or any other service/product booked through Galaxy Travels. 

The provider of the Activity will be referred as &39Activity Provider&39, who shall be solely responsible for provision of the products/ services booked by the Traveller.

 

ROLE OF GALAXY TRAVELS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

GALAXY TRAVELS&39s role is limited to facilitating the procurement of an Activity service by the Traveller from the Activity Provider. The transaction or the service fulfilment relation is always between the Traveller and the Activity Provider 

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not provide pick up and drop facility for any Activity unless otherwise explicitly mentioned in the confirmation of the reservation. 

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be liable or responsible for: 

 

  • Any damage or loss, injury, accident, death, breakdown, irregularity, delay/change in schedule, cancellation without cause, inaccurate information, deficiency of service/product, or cancellation due to conditions not under the control of Activity Provider
  • The health, safety and well-being of the Traveller in the course of availing the Activity or thereafter
  • Any incidental or ancillary services which is directly purchased by the Traveller from the Activity Provider
  • Any incorrect information provided by the Activity Provider.


The maximum liability of GALAXY TRAVELS will be limited to refund of booking amount which was received by GALAXY TRAVELS service provider of that Activity. 
 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAVELLERS

 

The Traveller agrees to comply with the terms and conditions of Activity Provider in addition to GALAXY TRAVELS&39s Traveller Agreement and Terms of Service. 

The Traveller will be required to present the booking / confirmation voucher issued by GALAXY TRAVELS in order to avail the Activity. 

The Traveller shall further be in possession of valid s viz. Identity proof, address proof, passport in case of Activity booked outside India or any other as specified by the Activity Provider in order to utilize the Activity booked. 

The Traveller may be required to sign a waiver/consent form, safety procedure form, medical declaration or other before availing the Activity where mandated by the Activity Provider. 

The Traveller shall reach out to Activity Provider directly for any concerns subsequent to the confirmation of reservation. 

The Traveller should ensure that he qualifies all the eligibility criteria for availing the Activity including but not limited to age limit, weight limit, medical conditions etc. Traveller understands that in case he is found unfit or illegible for the Activity, Activity provider may or may not allow the Traveller to avail the said Activity. 

 

 

PAYMENTS FOR BOOKINGS, AND CANCELLATIONS

 

Reservations will be subject to cancellation and refund policies of the Activity Provider which may vary from time to time. 

GALAXY TRAVELS may charge applicable taxes or service charge, convenience fees etc. Wherever applicable. 

 

 

SPECIAL OFFERS AND COUPONS

 

The following terms will additionally apply to any coupon provided by GALAXY TRAVELS:
 

  • GALAXY TRAVELS responsibility is limited to sharing the coupon with the Traveller subject to receipt of payment from the Traveller
  • The redemption of coupon is Traveller&39s responsibility, and providing the service will be the Activity Provider&39s responsibility
  • The expiry date of the coupon shall be mentioned on the coupon and the Traveller will not be able the use the coupon subsequent to the date of expiry
  • The coupon is not redeemable for cash
  • The coupon once purchased cannot be refunded or cancelled.

VISA

ROLE OF GALAXY TRAVELS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

GALAXY TRAVELS solely acts as a facilitator for visa processing and is not responsible for grant or rejection of Traveller(s) visa in any manner whatsoever. Issuance of visa is a sole decision of concerned Embassy. 

Services offered by GALAXY TRAVELS should not be considered or construed as Visa advisory or consultancy in any manner as it acts on the instruction of the Traveller.. Traveller understands that he is solely liable to understand the requirement of Visa to undertake his travel booked for the desired destination country/Countries and then instruct GALAXY TRAVELS accordingly to initiate the Visa application process. 

GALAXY TRAVELS role is limited to informing the Traveller about the ary requirements for applying for a visa of a specific country or jurisdiction, collecting those s as provided by the Traveller, and submitting those s to the respective embassy or high commission. Such requirements for making a visa application (including, but not limited to, ation, fees and time frames) are provided by GALAXY TRAVELS on the basis of the information provided by the respective embassy, high-commission or visa agency. GALAXY TRAVELS cannot and will not advise on the merit, completeness, or the suitability of the s, or the likelihood of approval or rejection of the visa being applied for. 

Each country has varying requirements for passport and visa. For instance, certain nations require a minimum number of blank pages in succession or certain minimum balance period of validity of the passport. These requirements are established by those respective countries and are subject to change without notice. While GALAXY TRAVELS will make best efforts to ensure that its Traveller(s) are given, correct and updated information, there may be instances where the requisite information is not made available to GALAXY TRAVELS, as a result of which GALAXY TRAVELS may not be able to provide the same to its customers. In such cases, GALAXY TRAVELS will not be held responsible for any inaccuracy in such information. 

The approval or rejection of visa is at the sole discretion of the respective embassy or the high commission to which the visa application is submitted. GALAXY TRAVELS has no role in either assessing or processing the visa application. Such approval or rejection depends on a lot of factors, such as the information provided by Traveller, current or previous nationality, place of application of visa, residence, gender, age, profession, recent travel and religion. 

On the Traveller&39s behalf, the concerned consulate, embassy or high commission, may call the Traveller for a face to face interview, at its sole discretion. GALAXY TRAVELS shall have no role to play in this process. GALAXY TRAVELS will however inform the Traveller about the date, time and any other requirements as communicated by the concerned Embassy or High Commission for the interview. 

GALAXY TRAVELS may also appoint third party vendors for the visa application process for different countries. Such third-party vendors will be responsible for applying for the visa of customers for the respective countries they have been appointed for. 

For visa applications where submission of passports is required, GALAXY TRAVELS shall take all necessary steps to ensure that the passport is safely delivered to the Traveller. However, GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held liable if the passport is lost in transit or misplaced by the logistics service provider.

GALAXY TRAVELS shall not be held liable for the acts and omissions of any consulate, embassy, authorities in delaying or not issuing the visa for any reason whatsoever. GALAXY TRAVELS also cannot be held liable for any incidental cost/expenses in connection thereto incurred by the Traveller. In certain instances, even when a visa is issued, the Traveller may be denied entry as it is the local immigration authorities which have a final say on entry decision. 

In addition to Visa certain countries may require additional conditions to be fulfilled. For example an "OK TO BOARD" approval may be required for Traveller(s) travelling to Dubai. Traveller understands that it is the complete discretion of the concerned Airline/ department to grant or reject "ok to board" and GALAXY TRAVELS has no role to play in this regard. GALAXY TRAVELS merely acts as a facilitator between the Traveller and the concerned department/ Airlines for application of OK TO BOARD. Traveller(s) are required to provide valid communication details (mobile number/ email id) at the time of applying for the Visa / OK TO BOARD services, as these will be the only point of contact for timely update on the status of Traveller Visa / OK TO BOARD application by GALAXY TRAVELS.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE TRAVELLERS

 

By engaging GALAXY TRAVELS to facilitate the process of visa application, Traveller authorizes GALAXY TRAVELS to file necessary visa application along with visa fees, embassy charges on his/ her behalf to concerned embassy. 

The Traveller undertakes to provide the s required for the processing of the visa, promptly to GALAXY TRAVELS. The Traveller further undertakes that the s submitted are genuine and further the information provided by the customer is true and correct. GALAXY TRAVELS shall bear no responsibility to verify the genuineness of the s or the information provided. 

Traveller(s) are also required to provide to GALAXY TRAVELS all necessary and correct information, to allow GALAXY TRAVELS to submit application for visa processing. Such information may include, but is not limited to, the Traveller name, address, contact details, holiday destination, and any other information which GALAXY TRAVELS considers necessary for the purpose of processing the Traveller&39s visa application. 

Once GALAXY TRAVELS returns passport and s of a Traveller to him/her, it is their responsibility to check that all requisite visas have been obtained and details mentioned therein are correct and matches to their travel itinerary. Traveller shall also check his/her personal details mentioned on the visa issued. 

In case of rejection, if Traveller wishes to reapply/appeal against rejection of the visa, GALAXY TRAVELS shall do the same strictly pursuant to the instructions of the Traveller. The reapplying/appeal shall be a fresh transaction and the Traveller will be liable to pay the applicable fee for such reapplying/appeal process along with service fee to GALAXY TRAVELS. Unless otherwise applied by the Traveller, GALAXY TRAVELS will not initiate reapplication of any visa application. 

In certain cases, the third-party vendor appointed by GALAXY TRAVELS may refuse to submit the Traveller&39s visa application basis the credentials of a Traveller, which may be decided on the basis of the s submitted by the Traveller. This will be done only in cases where the vendor is of the opinion that there exists a substantial risk of the visa being rejected. In such cases, if certain additional s are required, the same will be informed to the Traveller, and the application would be submitted only if the such additional s are submitted and are found to be in order. However, if the application is not submitted by the vendor, the visa fee shall be refunded but the service fee of GALAXY TRAVELS shall remain non-refundable. 

 

 

PAYMENTS AND OTHER CHARGES

 

GALAXY TRAVELS will charge the Traveller a service fee towards the cost of providing the services of submitting the application on the Traveller&39s behalf to concerned embassy. This service fee is in addition to the visa fees, embassy charges and other similar fees by whatever name called or as prescribed by the respective embassy. Traveller shall pay the such service fee to GALAXY TRAVELS at the time of engaging GALAXY TRAVELS to provide the visa related services. GALAXY TRAVELS will not be liable to refund the service fees for any reason what-so-ever, even if the Traveller ultimately decides not to submit the visa application, or if the visa application gets rejected. 

In addition to the aforesaid service fees, any charges for logistics, i.e. Pick up of s, collection of passports, courier charges etc. Or any other cost incurred by GALAXY TRAVELS beyond its regular scope of work shall be separately payable to GALAXY TRAVELS by the Traveller. 

Embassy fees, taxes, other charges which are not there under the control of GALAXY TRAVELS are subject to changes made by embassies or government authorities without prior notice to GALAXY TRAVELS, and GALAXY TRAVELS cannot be held liable for this. Such fees, taxes and other charges are not refundable after the visa application is submitted to the respective embassy. The aforesaid is as per the guidelines of the respective embassy, and GALAXY TRAVELS has no control over the same.

 

This above mentioned Visa Policy & Term conditions are applicable on all kind of bookings and services i.e. Holiday package, Outbound & Domestic tours, flight tickets, hotel booking, cabs, bus ticket, Visa, Activity or any sightseeing booked from Galaxy Travels.

All unresolved disputes are subject to Gurugram jurisdiction only.

Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Below policy will be applicable in case of cancellation, rescheduling or modification of package request given by client once confirmed booking with us:

*   Airlines tickets once issued are Non Refundable.

*  Advance token amount given for booking of land package will be forfeited.

*  If cancellation is made 45 days prior to departure, 25% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

*  If cancellation is made 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

*  If cancellation is made 30 to 14 days prior to departure, 75% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

* If cancellation is made 14 to 05 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost shall be deducted.

*  In case passenger is No Show at the time of Departure, 100% of the tour cost shall be deducted.
